John brings many years of executive and managerial experience in several industries, including educational publishing, information and data management, consulting, and information technology. Currently holding the position of Managing Partner at Sagres Consulting, LLC, John and his partners assist medium and small companies in a review of their strategic direction and devising a strategy for follow through with robust change management best practices.
John has a great deal of experience in creating Human Capital strategies as well as significant tenure in leadership in each of the technical functions of hurman resources. This depth and breadth in experience gives him a passion for creating well-orchestrated transformation strategies that directly impact each company's bottom line. In 2005, John joined an entrepreneurial education publishing company named Quarasan as Senior Vice President of Human Resources where he created many initiatives to help this company shift to a growth strategy by reinventing itself. Always focused on the business and operations, John was asked to launch a start-up company in 2011. In addition to HR leadership, John became President of CHECKPrōz successfully launching this new business for Quarasan.
Prior to Quarasan/CHECKPrōz, John excercised his Human Resources leadership and business operation skills at various organizations to retain top talent, support projects, reduce expenses, and streamline processes in various industries. He has led multiple transformational strategies to sustain growth and profitability by improving productivity through human capital transformation. John also spearheaded a company-wide initiative in total-quality management at a billion-dollar information and data corporation. Known for his ability to envision on the macro level but implement on the micro level, John enjoys finding ways to help organizations implement sustained and lasting change. A good listener, inquisitive, and tenacious in getting to the root of issues are how others describe his style.

He received his SPHR (Senior Human Resources Professionl) certification and holds a certificate of completion in Organization Development from DePaul University. John is a certified mediator and regularly conducts training and public information sessions .
